katharinakrug: (via benjaminf) Ahonen & Lamberg  Today I have been at the printer’s (Asco Sturm Druck, Bremen) with some fellow students. We had got some demonstrations, expositions of printing process, papers, fixations and so on. Against all expectations I was pretty impressed and it totally aroused my interest for printing etc. - it’s a great (& of course important) instrument of designing (not a new thought I know - but it’s new to my greenhorn-like awareness). It felt good to see the machines (Offset - the CYMK colours on it’s rolls), to touch the different kind of papers, to smell the colours and so much more. Uh, and the shelf (or better: shelves) with all the Pantone colours! Godlike. It opens up so much more possibilities. Again: #Knowledge (via clrcrtq)
